Based upon the T. H. White novel, The Once and Future King, Camelot tells its audience of the

creation and demise of King Arthur’s Round Table. Paired with the love of Guenevere for Arthur’s

closest friend, Lancelot, and the vengeful scheming of a Scot named Mordred, this musical

is a poignant tale riddled with humor. “In short there’s simply not a more congenial spot

for happily ever aftering than here in Camelot.”

The original vampire classic comes to life at Young Troupe in Amber Medlin’s new adaptation for stage. When solicitor Jonathan Harker takes on the sale of an abbey in Transylvania, he finds things are not what they seem. Trapped in the castle of the suspicious count for whom he is working, Jonathan must find a way to save himself and his loved ones home in England from the tumult his journey has set in motion.

Shakespeare once again graces the Young Troupe stage, this time in a comedy of mistaken identities and games of love. Despite its intricate webwork of plot and character, this samurai spin is sure to pull you in and warm your heart with its action packed comedy and timeless romance.

Once on this Island echoes the lessons of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid, with love crossing the societal lines of peasant versus land owner in the exotic locale that is the Caribbean Islands. Through Ti Moune we see the power of love against prejudice, hatred, and death, all though the enchanting, rhythmic music of the tropics.
