July 11, 12, 18, & 19 6:00 p.m.
What do you get when three raucous little leprechauns share folktales from the emerald isle? Balderdash! This piece brings three folktales (The Hunchback of Knockgrafton, The Griffin’s Feather, and The Bird, the Mouse, and the Cricket) rolling to your feet in our 2008 Dessert Before Dinner setting.
November 15 & 22
Just in time for Thanksgiving, these Native American tales are filled with heroes and tricksters, comedy and drama. The stories have entertained children in the oral tradition from their ancient origins to today. Each story represents another sub-culture of the Native American way. Stories from the Ojibway, Cherokee, Cheyenne, and Zuni will fascinate you with their authenticity.
Young Troupe will produce school performances only. See “On Our Stage-Fundraiser Shows” for Main Stage public performance dates, times, and ticket prices.
The time of the action is "an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.” It really is just that, a day made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from Valentine's Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together on the string of a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening.
