Each season Young Troupe makes available performances specifically designed for schools.

Each production offers 8 performances to choose from spread across 4 days,

2 each in 2 consecutive weeks.

 

All productions are available for reservation beginning August 1.

 

Schools may request to be added to our mailing list by e-mailing youngtroupe@straussstheatre.com or by calling 318-323-0474.

Schools will receive a single notification card 4 weeks prior to each production

which they may duplicate and distribute if they wish.

 

Teachers wishing to receive individual notification may subscribe to our

e-mail notification system by emailing youngtroupe@strausstheatre.com with

SUBSCRIBE SCHOOLS” in the subject line.

 

All non-touring productions are performed at 9 & 11 a.m.

Tickets for non-touring productions are $5 per student.

One adult per 10 students receives free admission.

Additional adult tickets are $10 each.

Travel the world round in a single season with Young Troupe at Strauss! With each of our productions, we’ll visit a different culture, from the emerald isle to Romania and right back to the United States…before they were so united!

* Denotes TOURING PRODUCTION. Young Troupe will travel to produce a private performance at your school! Dates and times available are specified. Tickets are $4 per student with a minimum reservation of 100 students. All faculty and staff receive free admission. Tickets for additional adults such as parents are $10 each. A $50 set up fee to allow for transportation and fuel will be applied to all reservations. Touring productions are available only to schools within a 30 mile radius from Strauss Theatre Center. (You can check to see if your school qualifies at Google Maps by clicking “Get Directions”.
